The Fort Hays State women’s cross-country team placed seventh out of 31 teams at the 2023 NCAA Division II Central Region Championships held Saturday, November 4 in Joplin, Mo. Lincoln’s own Jaycee Vath finished 13th with a personal best of 21:13.4 adding All-Region Honors to her trophy case alongside All-MIAA honors earned earlier this season.
It was the first time the women’s team picked up multiple All-Region honors in a single season since 2017.
FHSU will be represented at the 2023 NCAA Division II National Championships to be held November 18 at the Tom Rutledge Cross Country course in Joplin, MO by Regan Hodsden who finished with a time of 20:55.2.
