There are still events to plan for coming up on December 16 around the county!
Enjoy Breakfast with Santa between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. at the Westfall Community Center, 2634 E. Elk Drive in Westfall. Santa is making a special appearance to meet the kiddos and take photos. On the menu that morning is biscuits & gravy, eggs, pancakes, fruit, coffee and hot chocolate, a hearty breakfast by donation to fund Community Improvements!
If you haven’t had your fill, celebrate the holidays in Barnard for Pancake Day, December 16, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Community Center. The bakers and decorators in the county are invited to enter the Barnard Lion’s Club Gingerbread House Contest. Bring your completed “homes” to the Community Center between 11 a.m. and 12 p.m. Judging will be announced at 5 p.m. with prizes awarded to children 4-12, teens 13-17 and adults 18 and over. While you are there, join in the caroling at noon and a visit from Santa at 1:30.
In Lincoln, all are invited to experience Christmas at the historic Marshall-Yohe House, 316 S. 2nd Street. If you missed the Holiday Home Tours, you’ll want to see how each room in the house has been decorated by local businesses and individuals. Each room is unique with exquisite design elements. You will even be able to vote for the Most Creative, Most Authentic, and your favorite all-around room.
This might be Santa’s last visit to the county before Christmas, so he has time to finish preparing for his busiest day of the year.
Come, celebrate Christmas in Lincoln County!
