Many residents don’t know life without RanDan, Inc. picking up their solid waste every week. After 31 years of serving Lincoln County in this capacity, come rain or come shine, Randy and Krystal Pickering have decided to retire.
“Whether you were a customer for decades or days, we are honored to have had your business,” the Pickerings said in a letter dated November 28. “Thank you for trusting us to serve our wonderful community for so many years!”
Their retirement was effective January 1, 2023. Pickering left instructions to contact Jesse Zachgo (785)5770477 with questions.
Taking over the reins is Slechta Enterprises, Inc. of Ellsworth. Established in 1974, Slechta specializes in Sanitary Services, and has a 5-star rating by the Ellsworth Chamber of Commerce. The transition will be seamless, with pick up days remaining consistent for customers.
