Help us welcome Biking Across Kansas for an overnight stay June 11-12.
BAK 2024 is super excited to be coming to Lincoln as part of their 50th anniversary tour and bringing 775 enthusiastic bicyclists, part-time riders, nonriders and volunteers!
Bicyclists will begin arriving in Lincoln Tuesday, June 11 early-to-mid-morning through the afternoon on June 11. Many will seek out cold beverages, food, points of interest, and other activities/ entertainment, etc.
BAK officials will arrive at the school to setup camp, and the school will open to the riders at noon. There will be a team of shuttle drivers that will help the riders move around town and enjoy our restaurants and things to do. Wednesday June 12, the riders will have breakfast and get on the road headed east, and camp will be packed up. Many thanks to the various groups putting on fundraiser meals and opening their doors to welcome the BAK participants!
Please help the local residents be aware of this special event and encourage drivers to give bicyclists space and courtesy on the road.
