(courtesy Sheri Meili) Royce Meili, born and raised in Lincoln, Kansas, participated in the Bike Across Kansas event held June 8th to 15th, with a stop in Lincoln on June 11th.
Royce is a 68 year old father of two daughters, Hannah Anderson and Shari Meili. He has been married for over 40 years to Debbie Meili. He has three grandchildren and is a wonderful man and inspiration to his family!
His parents are Don and Joan Meili. Don is buried at the Lincoln cemetery and his mother Joan lives in Wichita now, having moved out of Lincoln about 3 years ago to be closer to family. Royce started training for Bike Across Kansas about six months ago when he retired.
He has always been in great shape, but now we can say he is in phenomenal shape! I don’t think his grandkids could even keep up with him at this point!
