February 18-25 was National FAA week, and our local chapter celebrated in style.
It was Future Farmer’s Spirit Week! Monday that week was Presidents’ Day, so the fun kicked off on Tuesday with Wear Blue Day to support our Leopards. Wednesday was Drive Your Tractor to School Day. FAA members proudly drove their tractors which proudly found a place to park. Thursday the students voted for a teacher who would kiss a chicken! Friday, the students staged a drive-thru breakfast.
FAA is not just for students who want to be production farmers. The organization also welcomes members who aspire to careers as teachers, doctors, scientists, business owners and more.
