City makes changes to city meetings

The Lincoln City Council approved a change to a city ordinance that set the times and days of city council open meetings.

The Lincoln City Council approved a change to a city ordinance that set the times and days of city council open meetings.

The meetings will continue to take place in the council meeting room the second Monday evening of each month. Instead of beginning the regular meeting at 7:30 p.m., the monthly meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m.

A motion to pass the ordinance changes was made by Councilwoman Angela Corpstein, seconded by Councilman Brendon Johnson. The vote was unanimous to approve the ordinance changes.

The next regular city council meeting will be Monday, April 10 at 6:30 p.m.
