Make a note on your calendar for May 6 because MarCon Pies and Daisy’s Buns are teaming up for a new event you won’t want to miss.

Join friends and/or fellow bakers at the MarCon building 114 W. Lincoln Ave. at 2:00 Saturday, May 6 for a new twist on the Make and Take format. Stacey Burmer, owner and bakery chef at Daisy’s Buns will guide the participants through the process of creating a Focaccia Bread Italian flat bread.

For $25, participants will bake their own Facaccia Bread to take home, but also receive a package of yeast to be used for making starter yeast so fresh bread can be on your menu whenever you want. MarCon will be offering samples of various products from Daisy’s Buns, as well as the Seasonal Summer Pie, that will make its debut that evening.

Those in attendance will have an opportunity to purchase MarCon Pies and Daisy’s Buns Bread that evening as well.
