Sylvan Senior Center members and their guests could not have asked for a more beautiful evening for their End of Summer celebration. They met in the Sylvan Grove city park on Tuesday, September 12. Mike Kratky grilled hamburgers and hot dogs, and members brought savory and sweet dishes to share. There were some new faces among the 40+ people who enjoyed good food and good fun.
A brief meeting resulted in the election of these officers for the coming year: President and Secretary – Lorelei Dohl, Vice President – Patricia Patrick, Treasurer – Mike Kratky, Board members – Val Robinson and Jane Hlad. The next SSC meeting will be at noon on Tuesday, October 10, at the center. All local seniors and their guests are welcome.
