Tescott National Honor Society members are conducting a fundraiser with Lincoln’s own MarCon Pies. Just in time for Thanksgiving, a variety of flavors including pumpkin and pecan can be purchased by contacting “Riley, Danika, Austin or Cade” at 785-283-4774.
“The Fundrasing Program at MarCon is a fun and easy way for any organization to raise money,” Dana Walter said. “Our owners Criag and Mary Ann (Stertz) have set up a very simple program that takes the guesswork out for everyone involved.”
The pies can be purchased baked or unbaked frozen. Each pie sold brings a $5.00 profit for the fundraiser. Free delivery is available if 100 or more pies are sold.
All the important information is provided to each organization including a hand-out for those selling the pies, those ordering the pies and a tally sheet to use to keep track of sales and to turn into Walter at the end of the fundraiser. Walter works closely with each organization and is available to help them along the way with any questions or issues that might arise.
“It really is a great program,” Walter said. “And who doesn’t love pie!”
