Louise B. Feldkamp

Louise B. Feldkamp, Lincoln, passed away on Thursday, June 22, 2023, at the age of 79. She was born on September 26, 1943, in Sylvan Grove to George and Mary (Meitler) Gier. Louise was a lifetime resident of Lincoln County. She attended school in Sylvan Grove and met her future husband at the café where she worked which was next to the Feldkamp Brothers station in Vesper. Louise married Carrol Feldkamp on September 25, 1960, in Holyrood, Kansas. She lived in Lincoln most of her married life and raised two children, Tammy and Kevin. Louise worked as a bookkeeper for the majority of her career at the Feldkamp Brothers station in Sylvan Grove.

Survivors include her husband, Carrol of Lincoln, KS; daughter Tammy Balsters of Belle Plaine, KS; son Kevin Feldkamp (Kelli) of Downs, KS; grandchildren, Tara Lang, Amber Delaughder, Brittany Bean, Tanner Balsters, Tyler Balsters, Alexandrea Feldkamp, Victoria Feldkamp and Nicholas Feldkamp; four great grandchildren; brother, Leo (Marian) Gier.

Louise was preceded in death by her parents George and Mary Gier; brother Harold Gier; granddaughter Kayla Balsters, nephew and great nephew George and Cooper Gier; and son-in-law David Balsters.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 7, 2023 at Parsons Funeral Home – Hall Chapel, Lincoln.
