Bologna, like hotdogs, is at times referred to as “Mystery Meat,” but it’s more mechanical meat than a mystery. If your bologna is made from “mechanically separated” chicken and pork, it probably has very little beef in it. Although many companies won’t reveal their preferred blend of spices, most of the ingredients in bologna are no secret. They’re listed on the package, free for all to read. As it turns out, most mass-produced varieties of bologna are a lot less gross than you may think—as long as you’re OK with corn syrup-flavored meat batter. Who’s hungry? 10/24/2023 23:00

As the calendar edges closer to Halloween the USD #298 Track Fundraising Committee moves nearer the December 31st fundraising deadline. The committee plans to host a concession stand fundraiser Monday, October 16th, at the Lincoln Junior High School volleyball tournament, with the volunteer effort launching the final phase of fundraising for the track rebuild project. 10/10/2023 23:00
