AREA DANCERS MAKE A SPLASH AT COMPETITION
Students of Post Rock Dance Academy, LLC participated in the Edge National Dance Competition held April 21-23 in Wichita, bringing home many awards for their talents. Among those putting their talents on stage were Bella Anderson, Adam Cooper, Mallie Florence, Molly Heller, Sydney Heller, Kaylee Johnson, Charlee O’Bannon, Kaylee Obermueller, Hannah Pahls, Hadley Reagan, Teryn Spear, Braxtyn Stertz and Belle Wehrman. The students received several awards including first place for lyrical solo, first place for lyrical group dance, first place for tap duet, second place for lyrical solo and fourth place for jazz group dance. An award for Best Technique was presented to the Lyrical Group Dance, out of 300 competing dances. The Lyrical Group also received first runner-up for the highest point total in the intermediate category out of 100 dances. 05/02/2023 23:00

Thank you for the editorial by Rebecca Phillips in the April 26 edition. What a fresh breath of relief from the editorials that have too often been there. We will never heal the division in this country by screaming I’m right and you will always be wrong.
