Anonymous Donor Provides Generous Donation to Sylvan Senior Center
Sylvan Senior Center members were recently gifted an anonymous donation of $10,000+. This donation, in addition to five other previous anonymous donations of similar amounts, and the many grants and other private donations, portray the giving spirit of so many supporters of local projects. Some of the Senior Center’s gifts have come from people still in the Sylvan Grove area; and some are from friends and supporters who have moved away but still hold the town, community, or historical buildings dear to their hearts. The excitement felt each time volunteers receive words of encouragement or monetary donations cannot be described. Such support provides both financial and emotional encouragement to spur projects toward completion.
